Transactions

Every purchase and payment in one list. Search and filter, edit, split a purchase, attach a receipt, link transfers, and export what you see.

Transactions lists everything that came in or went out in the month you’ve picked, grouped by day.

The list

Each row shows the payee (or the bank’s description if there’s no payee), the category, the account and the amount. Spending in another currency shows both: the amount you paid and what it came to in your budget currency.

The totals under the heading follow your filters: filter by a category and you see only that category’s total. A split purchase counts each part in its own category, and a refund in a spending category lowers that category’s spending.

Search and filters

Search looks through descriptions, payees and notes. It ignores case and accents, so “cafe” finds “CAFÉ” and “пятерочка” finds “Пятёрочка”.

Filters: account, category, tags, an amount range, a date range, needs review, and from this import. The month and the filters are part of the page address, so you can bookmark a view, and the browser’s Back button works as you’d expect.

Edit a transaction

Tap a row to open it (a panel on the right on a computer, a sheet on a phone). You can change the amount, date, account, description, payee, category, note, tags and currency. A few more blocks open when you need them, and they remember whether you left them open:

  • Bill: link the transaction to a bill, or make a new bill from it.
  • Rule: make a rule from its description and, if you like, apply it right away to other transactions without a category. Undo brings everything back.
  • Split: divide one purchase between several categories, for example groceries and household at the same supermarket.
  • Receipts: attach a photo or a PDF, up to 10 per transaction. They’re stored privately with your account.
  • Transfer: link it to its other half on another account, so money moving between your own accounts isn’t counted as spending.

Several at once

On a computer, tick the rows; on a phone, tap Select or press and hold a row. Then set a category or tags for all of them, delete them, or turn two rows into a transfer with Make transfer. Everything can be undone from the message that appears.

Export

Export downloads a CSV of exactly what’s on screen: the month or date range and your filters. Split purchases come out one line per part. You can pick commas or semicolons; with semicolons, amounts use a decimal comma, which is what Excel expects in many countries. The file is made in your browser.

Undo

Deleting a transaction or changing several at once shows a message with Undo. Use it before the message goes away.
